CONVERSATIONS with WOO
On Soulmates, Squeaky Toys & Quantum Physics
Six years ago I wrote the original version of Conversations With Woo. Written in a matter of months, the original was a stream of catharsis that superseded smooth, flowing prose.
Only meant to be a ‘thank you’ to many who supported Woo and I and who mourned when she left us, this book became so much more and served another purpose: it raised a lot of money for abandoned shelter dogs, saving and rehoming so many. So, this is the revised edition of that book. More polished with additional stories and insights, it tells the complete story from start to end, and sets the stage the follow up book – a book that tells a very different story. Both books are special
This is a story about an everlasting attachment. An immutable union. An enduring tie.
Even though Woo was the impetus for this book, it is a book about all of my dogs and my relationship with them. Each bringing love, joy and growth to my life, they were the basis of an unexpected calling.
As much for you, the reader, as it is for me, the writer, I hope that you enjoy it and that it makes you smile, laugh and cry and makes you think differently about yourself and the dogs of your past, present and future.
More importantly, I hope that through it you will have found or will find your anam cara as I did with Woo.
